Temi Vision, Mission and Statutes
A sustainable community of people, including the socially vulnerable, reaching their full potential as individuals and as a group, living together safely with dignity and respect for themselves, other human beings and living creatures, and the environment.
Temi aims to develop its capacity to earn a sustainable income, in order to provide a safe and stimulating environment in which its members can develop to their full potential. This requires the provision of facilities, resources, and life opportunities, as well as love, and mental and physical care and encouragement. Temi also ultimately aims to exist without harming the environment through pollution or degradation, as there is no financial or community sustainability without protection and stewarding of the one world in which we all live, and respect for life and the environment are inseparable.
1. Overview
1.1 Temi Charitable Union is an international charitable organisation based in the Republic of Georgia and although not subsidised by the State, acts in accordance with the code of civil law of Georgia.
1.2 The founder of this organization is Nika Kvashali, a qualified architect and now President of Temi Charitable Union.
2. Purpose of organization
2.1. To help the socially disadvantaged. Orphans, physically and mentally handicapped and the elderly are priority.
3. Rights and responsibilities of the members of the association
3.1 Every person can become a member of the Temi Charitable Union as long as he acts in accordance with Temi rules.
4. Financial disclosures
4.1 Sources of income for Temi are:
- Members contributions;
- Donations either from individuals or contributor organizations or other charities;
- Loans;
- Donations from families of residents or members.
4.2 Temi is entirely non-profit. Any moneys received from the sale of goods made at Temi will be used for the upkeep / maintenance of Temi.
4.3 All Georgian tax laws will be adhered to. Any permissible tax relief will also be applied in yearly statements.
